New launch window does not appear:
Our simulator software loads in a new window and some "pop-up blocking"
software can prevent this new window from opening. If you do not see a new
window open after clicking a launch button, disable any pop-up blocking software
you may be running and try again.

Java Plug-in installation & configuration:
Sun Microsystems has written a comprehensive
guide to common issues
while installing and configuring their Java Plug-in. If you see a new window
open, but are still having difficulty launching our
Simulator, this guide probably has a solution.
We recommend installing the latest version of the Sun Microsystem's Java
Plug-in for running applets
like the Patent Bar Simulator. Sun provides an
easy online update here.
Error Messages, Images, or Symbols:
If you are receiving a specific error message, image, or symbol while attempting to
launch the Patent Bar Simulator or while the Simulator is running,
then this guide
probably has an explanation and solution.
What if I lose my network connection?
Our software is not affected by the loss of a network connection during
an active session. The entire exam is downloaded by the
simulator software before your exam session begins.
How do I
save and review my exam session results?
Your results are automatically saved when you enter your access code at the
completion of your exam session. To review your
results, simply enter your email address and this access code at the bottom of
the initial screen. Then click the 'Review' button instead of the 'New' button
to review your previous session instead of beginning a new session.
Do I need to remain online while taking the
exams in the simulator?
No, the entire exam is
downloaded by the simulator software before your exam session begins. After
launching an exam session, you may disconnect your
network connection if you desire. At the conclusion of the exam session, you
will be prompted to reconnect in order to save your session results.

How many times can I access your software/exams with an access
code?
You may use our simulator software as many times as you
desire in an effort to become more comfortable with the computer-delivered
format. Each access code you purchase is only used when you complete an entire
testing session and wish to have your results saved & graded. You do not need to
use an access code to merely launch our exams or review the questions. Also,
once used to grade and save a completed exam session, your access code is
assigned to your session data and you may use it to
reload your saved session at any time to review your score, answers, and the
answer explanations.
Do you charge for shipping?
No, we do not charge for shipping. Our software is downloadable, so it isn't
necessary to ship anything. If you are unable to download our software and would
like us to deliver a CD containing our Patent Bar simulator with all nine
previous exams, please email us using the contact tab on the menu above.
How may I pay for my purchase and
is it secure?
