New launch window does not appear:
Our simulator software loads in a new window and some "pop-up blocking" software can prevent this new window from opening. If you do not see a new window open after clicking a launch button, disable any pop-up blocking software you may be running and try again.

How do I save and review my GRE session results ?
Don't worry, your results are automatically saved when you completed your exam and just before the scoring and explanation page.

• To review your results:
  • Simply enter your previously used access code in the 'Access Code' field and click the 'Login' button to load your previous session.

What happens if I lose my network connection?
Our software is not affected by the loss of a network connection during an active session. The entire question pool is downloaded by the simulator software before your exam session begins.

Do I need to remain online while taking my GRE exam in the simulator?
No, the entire question pool is downloaded by the simulator software before your exam session begins. After you successfully log in to the exam using your access code, you may disconnect your network connection if you desire. At the conclusion of the exam session, you will be prompted to reconnect in order to save your session results. Still having problems?

Our CATPrep Simulator for the GRE Test works in the same way as the actual GRE test by generating a custom exam session for each user by selecting questions from a large question pool according to the performance of the test taker. We have divided our question pool into six parts to insure six completely independent testing sessions. We recommend that users only complete one simulated exam session per question pool, because you are likely to encounter duplicate questions if you sit for a simulated exam session from the same question pool twice and perform similarly.

However, any valid unused access code can be used to login to the CATPrep Simulator for the GRE Test while using any of the three question pools. So, if you buy a pack of three access codes, they can be used to generate three unique simulated sessions, one from each question pool, or they can be used to generate three sessions from the same question pool. Nothing prevents you from sitting for multiple simulated sessions from the same question pool.

Access codes are not tied to a particular question pool and remain valid indefinitely. Your saved simulated exam session will also remain available indefinitely. To review a previously completed exam session, follow these instructions.

Do you charge for shipping?
No, we do not charge for shipping. Our software is downloadable, so it isn't necessary to ship anything. If you are unable to download our software, please email us using the contact tab on the menu above.

How may I pay for my registration and is it secure?
CATPrep protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. Your financial information is never stored by our payment processing system. Instead, it is passed in encrypted form directly from your webbrowser to our backend credit card processor. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for any transaction.

Most purchases with major credit cards are handled directly from our secure server. However, we also offer express checkout by Paypal and support other payment options through Kagi, which accepts many forms of payment worldwide in various currencies. When you purchase access codes to our software using this site, your personal payment information is sent directly to the payment processor over an encrypted connection. We never see or handle this data and its security is guaranteed by payment processor you selected to transact your payment. What type of computer is required to use your software?
Our software runs on all modern computer systems and all major operating systems and web browsers. We support all platforms of Apple computers and MAC OS, all Microsoft Windows platforms, Linux, Unix, and OS/2. Will someone grade my analyical writing section essays?
In order to fully simulate your actual test experience, our software does include the Analytical Writing section of the GRE Test. However, this section has no bearing on the comprehensive score of your real exam or our simulated exam. Thus, in order to keep your costs as low as possible we do not grade these sections by default.

If you wish, we can arrange for a private tutor to grade your completed essays, but this service requires an additional payment to cover the individual tutor's fees. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Will I encounter identical questions within your exams?
No, never. Each of our question pools contains completely independent sets of questions and you will never encounter identical questions amongst our exam offerings. Even our free demo exam contains a completely independent set of authentic & original questions and answers.
